Katie is a native of Columbus, Ohio and is a Senior soloist and Rehearsal Director for Exhale Dance Tribe. She attended Akron University as a dance and education major, transferring to Ohio State University, where she graduated with a degree in early childhood development and a dance minor in 2007. Katie has been studying dance since age three and has trained under Missy Lay Zimmer, Andrew Hubbard and Jennifer Rutherford at Planet Dance Cincinnati since 2008. Katie has performed with Exhale with the following artists, Over the Rhine and Bootsy Collins. Farry worked as an assistant to choreographers Lay- Zimmer and Hubbard for Cincinnati Ballet’s 2013 performance with Peter Frampton LIVE. Katie has been teaching and choreographing around the tri-state area and choreographed her first national commercial for Aldi foods in 2007. Katie is a dance adjudicator for Showcase America Unlimited and Creative Dance Productions.
